Thick, rough patches on your elbows, your knees, along your hairline. Skin that feels like it does not belong to you. Flakes on your dark sweater. You choose long sleeves in July, you skip the swimming pool, and you have stopped counting the creams that promised everything.
You are not looking for a miracle. You want skin that feels soft and looks calm enough to forget about it.
Why these patches need more than a lotion
Where skin is thick and scaly, it is extremely dry. Light lotions sit on top of the build-up and evaporate before they reach the skin underneath. These patches need something rich that softens, covers and stays: a fat that skin recognises.
Why tallow
Grass-fed beef tallow is rich in palmitic and oleic acid, the same fatty acids your own skin lipids are made of. It softens rough, thick skin and stays where you need it. No water, no preservative, no fragrance in our Minimalist: nothing that stings skin that is already irritated.
The answer: your daily routine
Use the Tallow + Jojoba Minimalist Butter on the patches themselves, and the Lavender & Frankincense Body Butter (100 ml) on larger areas of the body.
- Shower lukewarm and short. Long, hot showers dry the skin out even more.
- Pat dry, leave the skin slightly damp. Never rub the patches.
- Press a generous amount onto each patch. Let it melt in. This is where the softening happens.
- Every evening, a thick layer. On elbows and knees, cover with a soft cotton sleeve or old long-sleeved top overnight.
- Every day, without skipping. Thick, rough skin softens with repetition. The routine is the result.
What you can expect
From the first evening, the patches feel softer and less tight. With daily use, customers tell us the patches look smoother and calmer, and flake less. Michele used Nana Latta every day for 45 days:
“For years I battled stubborn patches on my arms that wouldn’t go away no matter what I tried. The red, inflamed plaques were visible, uncomfortable, and made me avoid wearing short sleeves. After using Nana Latta for just 45 days, the patches have significantly faded and my skin finally feels and looks healthy again.”
