It was made by hand in Belgium, passed from one person to the next, and it grew the way good things used to grow: one jar, one friend, one “you have to try this.” We are Belgium’s first tallow skincare brand, and we are still small on purpose.
Why you won’t find us shouting in your feed
We don’t have an ad budget, and we don’t chase influencers. What we have is Trustpilot reviews, word of mouth, and people who tried a jar and told someone they love. That is slower. It also means every person talking about Nana Latta means it.
Handmade, the way it started
I’m Laura. Nana Latta means “Mother Earth” in Chechen, my first language. I started after becoming a mother, when I wanted to know exactly what was going on my child’s skin. I trained as a health advisor and organic skincare formulator, and the more I learned, the more I came back to what my grandmother knew without a single certificate: your body recognises what the earth gives it.
Every product is still made the way the first jar was: by hand, in small batches, with the gentle cold process that keeps the tallow’s natural vitamins A, D, E and K. We never scale past what we can make with real attention.

Our tallow is cold-rendered by a Belgian family business that has worked with fats since the 19th century: a true Belgian tradition, passed down from generation to generation for two centuries. It is food-grade and halal-certified, purified with natural clay, with no chemical bleaching. Long before there was a beauty industry, people here were looking after their skin and their food with animal fat, and this is that tradition, made for your skin.
